Ann Kuo, MD

Hi! I’m Ann. I am an Internal Medicine physician and a proud PWS alum. I am thrilled to be a part of the Life Planning team.

I graduated from Brown University's combined baccalaureate-MD program. I completed my Internal Medicine residency at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), where I was honored to be selected as a Chief Resident. Afterward, I completed a Fellowship in Pediatric Survivorship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) in New York, where I trained in providing long-term follow-up care for adult survivors of childhood cancer. I stayed on as faculty in the Department of General Internal Medicine and developed a solid foundation and interest in the broader field of Adult Cancer Survivorship. I moved back to San Diego for my current job. I split my time between a general internal medicine primary care practice in a multi-specialty medical group and a leadership position (Oncologic Internal Medicine Service Line Director) with my medical system's Cancer Center, where I am spearheading the development of a comprehensive cancer survivorship program. My parents are from Taiwan, and I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I have lived abroad in Spain, China, Germany, and the Dominican Republic.

I was inspired by the PWS method of financial planning, and even more so by the members of the team and their dedication to making sure my goals were met. Along with being part of the life planning process, I feel fortunate to be able to provide the PWS team with a physician's perspective so that we may continue to build trustworthy and philosophically aligned partnerships with our clients.
